Mr. Cupcake Mechatronic Toy Prototype

Overview

Meet Mr. Cupcake! This exciting prototype toy will take jumpscares to the next level, bringing Five Night's at Freddy's very own cute cupcake to life. Don't be fooled by his sweet design, he hides a sinister and biting personality.

Mr. Cupcake features an RC drive system for sneaking up on unsuspecting victims, eyes that turn left and right to face where he's moving, blinking at random intervals, a lit candle which changes color during attacks, and a complex jaw linkage to attack his target.

Modelled entirely in Creo Parametric, my team utilized motion skeletons and surface modeling to create a virtual prototype. Our physical model will employ 3 servos, two DC drive motors, an ESP32 dev board, and a programmable LED to achieve the desired effects.
