Overview

The Crazy Monkeys is Purdue's Premiere Improv Comedy Troupe. For over 30 years, The Crazy Monkeys have been a staple of the Purdue comedy scene, adding a respite from the stressful college experience. This isn't just college improv, it's impact.

Under my leadership, The Crazy Monkeys have utilized our $35,000 budget to perform in the largest student-reservable theaters at Purdue: Fowler Hall and Loeb Playhouse. These venues seat 400 and 1011 students respectively. As President, I have led The Crazy Monkeys to reach over 4,500 students so far this academic year.

In addition to growing impact, I coordinated venue rentals with Purdue's Hall of Music, planned and executed extensive advertising campaigns, and managed our organization's budget. I utilized excess funds for the purchase of long-term equipment, ensuring we can continue to deliver the premiere image we have come to cultivate. Further, as President of a comedy group, I led twice-weekly practices, planning lessons for members to engage and grow their improv, comedy, and public speaking skills.
